1950s
In the 1950s, they left Pontremoli, in the province of Massa Carrara, to seek new opportunities in Bergamo. Rosi Lupo, the founder of the shop, fondly remembers those years of hard work in the markets of Valcamonica, Valtellina and Trento, where she began working at the age of thirteen.
70's
In the 1970s, Rosi and her sister-in-law decided to open their first store, "Negozio del Borgo", in Borgo Palazzo in Bergamo. They symbolically chose March 8th as the opening date, thus celebrating the beginning of an all-female adventure.

Over the years, the store has become not only a business, but a real family environment. Rosi's children, Raffaella and Simone, grew up among the shelves and dressing rooms, breathing the atmosphere of the fashion world from an early age. This experience has shaped their future, so much so that their initials have given life to the new name of the store: "Erre Esse".

90's
In the early 1990s, hardship and economic pressure forced Rosi to close the shop.
In 1996, with the support of Simone, who had gained experience working for four years at DHL, he decided to join the team and reopen the store.
TODAY
Today, "Erre Esse" continues to offer a wide range of quality clothing, from cashmere sweaters to taffeta dresses, from quilted down jackets to soft leather bags. Attention to detail and a passion for fashion are reflected in every aspect of the store, from the expertly curated windows to the personalized advice offered to customers.
